Well, we made it to the end of 2024. Oof. What a year (that’s a massive understatement).

Before we start singing Auld Lang Syne, toasting our champagne/Martinelli’s, and making resolutions to become Republicans’ worst nightmare in 2025, we wanted to take a moment to share our gratitude for you.

Things may feel a little bleak out there (ok, another understatement of the century), but we draw a lot of hope and inspiration from this community. There are tens of thousands of strangers, dotted across the country, choosing to spend their free time and disposable income to protect the rights and freedoms of people they don’t know and will never meet. That’s pretty f*cking amazing. We’re proud to be in this fight with you.

Thank you to everyone who took action this year – Whether you donated, signed up to call voters, or even just reached out to your friends and family to talk about voting, you should be proud.

As we slowly start coming out of our post-election hibernation, we’re looking ahead at what’s at stake in 2025.

In the coming months, we know what to expect from the Trump Administration and his Republican Congress: vile attacks on the most vulnerable among us. Trans folks, immigrants, poor communities, and women will be the first in their line of fire.

We cannot let these f*ckers exhaust us. We cannot stop putting in the work. There are no off years, and the Vote Save America virtual volunteer community isn’t going anywhere in 2025.

There are down-ballot fights to win. In 2025, we’ll have two absolutely crucial, gubernatorial races that Democrats must win in New Jersey and Virginia. We have mayoral races in dozens of cities across the country – including Detroit, New York City, Miami, and more. And we have state supreme court races in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

And we will be looking for ways to protect our communities – especially those who will be most at risk under the MAGA agenda. Whether it’s by donating, volunteering, or becoming your Member of Congress’ favorite daily phone call, we’ll share with you ways to support immigrants, trans kids, LGBTQIA+ folks, and more.

We plan to find ways to connect all our volunteers to opportunities to build power at every level. So if you’re not ready to give in (we know you’re not, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this

Losses hurt but they aren't forever, and we have to keep trying - in 2025, 2026, and every year moving forward. So take a break, drink some egg nog, write a Festivus list of grievances that’s just all of Trump’s cabinet appointees – whatever you need to do to unwind. We’ve got work to do in 2025.

We are grateful for you, however you stepped up this year. 🫶
