Jack,
My name is Reverend Raphael Warnock, and I’m running for Senate in Georgia. I’d like to take a few minutes to introduce myself, and share a little more about why I’m in this race to win.
But before I do, I’m going to ask you to donate $5, $25, whatever you can spare, to help me become Georgia’s first black U.S. Senator and ensure Democrats take back the Senate.
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth. My father was a veteran, a small businessman, and a preacher. My mother grew up in South Georgia and spent her summers picking cotton and tobacco. We didn’t have much, but she raised each of my 11 brothers and sisters to believe that with faith, love, and hard work, we could do anything we put our minds to.
I went from public housing on the west side of Savannah, to Morehouse College, to serving as senior pastor at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once preached.
But the truth is, the opportunities that made my journey possible—from Kayton Homes to Dr. King's pulpit—are growing out of reach for so many people across the country. I’m running for Senate to change that.
But I can’t do it without support from folks like you. So I’m asking you to contribute to my Senate campaign. Any amount you can spare gets us one step closer to turning Georgia blue and taking back the Senate majority→
My opponent’s story? Pretty different than mine. Senator Kelly Loeffler is a political mega-donor who has promised to spend $20 million of her personal fortune to buy this seat and keep the Senate in Mitch McConnell’s control.
I don’t have a giant personal war chest to win this race. But I’m hoping I can count on you. Please, make a donation of any amount to support this grassroots-funded campaign. You can give at this link: secure.actblue.com/donate/ots_warnock
With gratitude,
Raphael
