As my family and I finish our Christmas preparations, I am struck by an overwhelming reality: More than 1 million children will miss their first Christmas this year.
John,
As my family and I finish our Christmas preparations, I am struck by an overwhelming reality: More than 1 million children will miss their first Christmas this year.
This is the tragic human cost of our society’s present apathy towards preborn children and disregard for the sanctity of life. Last year, over 2,800 unique lives were ended every day via abortion in the U.S.
Think about that for a moment. The daily death toll of abortion is on par with the 2,996 people killed on 9/11 — the worst terrorist attack in American history.
How can our nation be okay with this? How can people in seven states have voted to enshrine this kind of atrocity as a “right” in their state constitutions last month?
The answer is painfully simple: they are deceived. Whether because of fearmongering, a lack of knowledge, outright falsehoods, or simply the selfishness of the human heart, millions of people fail to acknowledge basic truth.
The truth is that a preborn child is a human being deserving of our utmost care and protection and that abortion is the cruel and intentional murder of that unique person. ([link removed] )
Every day these truths continue to go unrecognized, the cost of human lives grows greater. You and I must do something to change the trajectory of our culture. Lives are, quite literally, on the line.
But, despite all the very real horror and tragedy that abortion has wrought, there is still hope — and you are an essential part of making this hope a reality. Even when things look dark, I know that we are on the right side of history. Life is a winning issue.
We cannot abandon our preborn brothers and sisters simply because the fight is tough. We must persist, doubling down and taking advantage of every opportunity we are given to share the truth and open people’s eyes.
That’s why I’m asking you to join us today. We have an opportunity in the coming year to fight for real, lasting cultural change, to lay the groundwork for a pro-life future where abortion is seen for what it is and considered a barbaric relic of the past.
Live Action has the tools and the passion to make that future a reality, and I know you share that passion too, John. You are the missing piece in this fight. We cannot create and share our mind-changing, culture-transforming content without you.
Along with our ongoing work, we have three incredible initiatives planned for next year that I and other members of the Live Action team have shared with you over the past couple of weeks.
Each of these critical projects is uniquely tailored to make a lasting difference in saving preborn babies and building a culture that welcomes life.
Will you make a generous year-end gift today to partner with us in building a post-abortion future? Your support is pivotal to our success in launching these initiatives in 2025.
When you give right now, your gift will go TWICE as far, thanks to an incredible $300,000 matching grant that is only available through December 31st. Make your investment in a pro-life future today: give.liveaction.org/build-a-pro-life-future-2x ([link removed] )
We cannot afford to wait, John. The current status quo is not pro-life, and things are not going to get better on their own. It’s up to us to fight for change on behalf of all those who cannot defend or speak up for themselves.
If we don’t act now, dozens more states could enact sweeping abortion protections in 2025 and 2026, leading to millions of additional lives lost.
We are preparing to fundamentally transform culture and expose abortion’s lies on multiple fronts through these three projects:
- Baby Oliver will help illuminate the miraculous process of fetal development for audiences of all ages, highlighting the humanity of the preborn baby and helping people recognize the value of life in the womb.
- The North Star Society will shape the thought-leaders and influencers of both our current day and the next generation, expanding a pro-life mindset into numerous spheres of cultural influence.
- And, our “Face to Face” series expansion will continue to shine an unflinching spotlight onto the horrific and far-reaching impact of abortion, showing the ugly truth that the abortion industry desperately wants to hide while also providing a beacon of hope and a reminder that healing and redemption are always possible.
No gift is too small to save preborn babies, so whether it’s $10, $25, $50, $100, or more, your gift will make a crucial difference in our mission to change minds and save lives. Whatever amount you give today will be DOUBLED, helping us reach twice as many people in 2025: give.liveaction.org/build-a-pro-life-future-2x ([link removed] )
John, I know money may be tight right now, so if you are unable to give a year-end gift at this time, I want to make sure that you know how grateful we are for everything you already do to partner with us. From signing our petitions, to reading Live Action News articles, following our social media accounts, and sharing our content with the people in your life, your efforts truly do play a vital role!
This Christmas, as you gather with your loved ones to celebrate the birth of Christ and give thanks for the many blessings you enjoy, I ask you to remember the preborn babies. Those who are not here getting to celebrate and be loved today, those whose lives are currently hanging in balance, and those who will one day be conceived and who will inherit the world we leave them. What kind of world do we want that to be?
Thank you for all the ways, seen and unseen, that you stand with us in the fight for life!
For Life,
