The last week of the sitting year in parliament was an oratorial fireworks show celebrating the end of a challenging but positive year for New Zealand.

Fast Track Consenting ready to go
Jamie Mackay’s 2024 Politician of the Year for ‘telling it like it is’, including his array of outstanding quotes. None more famous that what happens if you come across a blind frog when there is something to be dug up… it’s “Goodbye Freddy”. We are of course talking about none other than Hon Shane Jones.

The last week in parliament also saw Shane leading the charge once again as the new Fast Track consenting legislation passed its third reading.
