Game and Fish to offer training for new hunter education instructors

CHEYENNE — Are you interested in teaching the next generation of Wyoming hunters? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is looking for new volunteer hunter education instructors to help ensure new hunters have a thorough understanding of safety, ethics and conservation.

CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has confirmed the presence of chronic wasting disease in a cow elk from Elk Hunt Area 84. The elk was reported by a member of the public who found it dead on public land. Department personnel investigated the carcass and sampled the elk. 


Game and Fish partners with nonprofits to create children’s book

Looking for a last minute holiday gift? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has partnered with a Wyoming author and illustrator, the WYldlife Fund and Muley Fanatic Foundation to create a children’s book, The Magnificent Mule Deer, as part of Rusty's Remuda books.
