Team,

As we wrap up 2024 and prepare to welcome 2025, it’s natural to take time to reflect on this past year.

My challenge to you is not to despair over where we are today, as difficult as that may be.

Instead, set your sights on where we need to go, and let’s focus on figuring out how we are going to get there together.

We’re working towards a destination where the promises in the documents that shaped this country aren’t empty words on paper, but a lived reality for every single American.

It’s a country where we are all counted equally in our democracy and we have a fair shot at electing leaders who support the policies we believe in.

Anyone who tells you we can’t make this type of progress because of what else is going on around us is mistaken. Throughout our history Americans have made this nation more fair, not just, in spite of what seemed like immovable opposition.

We have made great progress in our time fueled by the courage and determination of people like you. But more work remains to be done.

Right now, all donations to All On The Line will be matched up to $50,000 total. If you’re looking for an opportunity to have a big impact on the fight for fair maps and a just democracy, this is the best time to send in a contribution.

In 2025, there are still elections across the country that will decide the control of multiple state legislatures, governorships, and at least four state supreme court seats.

We need to be ready for potential redistricting reforms — and also the concrete threats ahead like Donald Trump and his MAGA allies undermining the census, more attacks on the Voting Rights Act, and ongoing attempts to gerrymander.

No matter what, All On The Line will continue to fight for fair maps and a stronger democracy. Because although the journey may be arduous, we have no choice but to embark on it. And there’s no team I’d rather be working alongside. If you’re with me, please take advantage of this end-of-year match opportunity by making a generous contribution right now.

Please don’t give up on 2025 or the four years ahead. We have it in our power to shape where the journey goes next — as long as we put in the work.

Thank you,

Eric H. Holder, Jr.
82nd Attorney General of the United States
