Hey John, it's Tim Walz – Governor of Minnesota, former Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, and former VP candidate – reaching out to you for the last time this year. I know you're busy – I am too – but this is important, so I need you to read every word.

While the outcome of last month’s election wasn't what we wanted, it was the honor of a lifetime to fight alongside you and millions of other Americans for our shared values of democracy and freedom.

If you're feeling deflated or discouraged, I get it. We all remember the chaos and confusion that Donald Trump and his allies pulled four years ago – and now we're facing another four years of his division and extremism.

But that is exactly why I am asking you to stay in this fight. We can't sit on the sidelines, John.

The agenda we heard from Donald Trump and JD Vance over the course of this campaign is very different from the one we know is right for our country, and we have already seen the damage this president can cause when he's in it for himself and not the American people.

We know what could be coming down the pipe – higher costs for the middle class, a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, the gutting of Social Security and Medicare, and bans on abortion across this country.

We’re going to have to be ready to defend the progress that we made over the last four years. And we're going to need your help to do it, John.
