John,
Let me make one thing clear: Power cannot be taken by someone who didn’t even give it to you in the first place. The power comes from us. It comes from community, our neighborhoods, and our families.
In Maryland, we celebrate our communities as we stand together with love and stand together in the work.
Recently, I celebrated the Maryland entrepreneurs, who are growing their businesses right here in the state. Joined by some of the best community organizations, we came together to celebrate our friends, our communities, and the collective power we have when we come together.
I mean it when I say Maryland is the best state in the country because we’re building up our communities, supporting our homegrown talent, and creating the best opportunities for our families and friends to thrive.
If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’m never going to stop fighting for a better Maryland. It’s the reason I created the first State Plan in almost a decade. It’s the reason I’m working with our local leaders to pass meaningful legislation. So far, we’re 26 for 26 on the bills my administration has passed.
I see the vision for the state, and I’m not stopping until we make it a reality. Join me in that work. My campaign is facing a fundraising freeze next month, and we need to build the resources now to sustain our work through the legislative session. Make a contribution today. [[link removed]]
