John,

A Christian pastor who endured 170 days of beatings, deprivation, and torment faces more torture for his faith.

If sent back to Iran, Pastor Mojtaba Ahmadi will be thrown back in an Iranian prison for three more years of severe abuse. His only "crimes"? Converting to Christianity, pastoring fellow believers, and sharing his faith.

Now authorities in Turkey – where he fled – have detained him on questionable charges for his faith, leaving him at risk of deportation back to Iran, where he faces imprisonment and further torture. Pastor Mojtaba's life and freedom hang in the balance.

The ACLJ is pressuring the U.N. to take immediate action to stop this unjust expulsion and secure Pastor Mojtaba's safety. We have defended persecuted Christians before and won, including securing the release of American Pastor Andrew Brunson, who was falsely imprisoned in Turkey. But we need your help to do it again.

This global fight for Christians facing unthinkable persecution and death requires immense resources. We're behind where we need to be right now and have less than two weeks to make up the difference.

Have your gift DOUBLED today through our Faith & Freedom Year-End Drive. $5 becomes $10; $20 becomes $40.

Sign our urgent petition now to demand protection for Pastor Mojtaba. Time is of the essence; he could be deported back to torture at any moment.
