I’m so proud of the work we did this year to put a real Democrat in the District Attorney’s office. We may have won this election, but Republicans saw gains across the board in Harris County. That’s enough to embolden them for upcoming local elections.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working with my team on transition plans and building out our strategy to tackle the challenges facing the DA’s office. But I’m also committed to supporting Harris County Democrats in future election cycles, whether I’m on the ballot or not.
