A special
menorah to place in your window: Download
Bend the Arc’s 2024 Hanukkah poster
Friend,
In 1931, a Jewish family took a now-famous photo of their menorah
in the window across from a building decorated with Nazi flags. Their
courage has been an inspiration across generations.
Today, in another moment of darkness, we designed a version you can
place in your home as a reminder: Jews will always resist
fascism. Jews will always dream ourselves into the
future.

The download
includes three versions with menorahs from different traditions,
including a kinara for Kwanzaa in collaboration with the Black
Jewish Liberation Collective.
Putting a menorah (or paper menorah cutout) in our windows is a way
of sharing our joy and solidarity with our neighbors.
Today, ahead of Trump’s inauguration, doing so is also an act of
resistance.
We chose this photograph from 1931 because it models the first rule
of fighting tyranny: “Do not obey in advance.”
Thank you for keeping the flame of resistance alive with us.

menorah, or wherever feels right for you.
In solidarity,

P.S. After you download, print, and cut out your menorah, send us a
photo of where you’re displaying it! Email [email protected] or tag us
