(Just a really cost-effective, morally just way to fight hunger)
Friend,
We don’t waste precious funds or harm the environment by mailing to your home address labels, nickels, packets of holiday cards, or other tchotchkes or useless gifts that you don’t want in order to try and guilt you into donating to us.
Instead, we let the cost-effectiveness and moral righteousness of our work fighting U.S. hunger speak for itself.
Since 2020, our team of specialists has helped more than 20,000 struggling Americans obtain over $45 million in government nutrition assistance. Through our AmeriCorps VISTA Program, we’ve placed hundreds of idealistic public servants with anti-hunger groups from Maine to Alaska to build their capacities to feed more people.
On top of all that, we successfully push for public policies to eventually end U.S. hunger and ensure that all Americans can afford to access healthy food.
Domestic hunger is soaring now because of the combined impacts of federal funding cutbacks and inflation – and leaders in DC may now try to cut the food safety net further – so we need your help now more than ever.
Please make a tax-deductible donation to Hunger Free America ([link removed]) and help us achieve our goal of ending hunger in America once and for all.
Sincerely,
Joel Berg, CEO of Hunger Free America
