STL Young Dems is excited to announce its slate of endorsed candidates!

To receive our endorsement, candidates were required to submit a questionnaire and earn at least 51% of the membership vote. For each race, "Do Not Endorse" was an option. In three races – U.S. Congressional District #1, House District #83, and STL City Sheriff – no candidate received a majority, forcing a run-off between the top two vote-getters.

• 59 members voted in the first round 
• 43 members voted in the run-off

While we weren’t able to host our traditional in-person endorsement meeting, candidates were able to engage with our membership by speaking during our April 29 Virtual Meeting and answering questions in our Candidate AMA.

Congratulations to the candidates who earned our endorsement – and thank you to everyone who participated during this unprecedented time.
