I wanted to take a moment to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the values we share: Faith, Freedom, and Opportunity.  

We are especially grateful to those who might not be at our table during the Holidays because they are selflessly serving our communities and our country. We keep them in our prayers and thank them for their courage and sacrifice.  

Looking ahead to the new year, in Saint Paul, I remain committed to fighting for your social priorities and the district’s economic growth. I will also be focused on reigning in government spending and ensuring your tax dollars are working for you. We’ve seen a 40% increase in government spending over the last two years coupled with historic amounts of waste, fraud, and abuse under the Walz administration. When the Legislature reconvenes, it will be a top priority to provide relief for hard-working Minnesota families and bring accountability to state programs.
