Happy Holidays

===================================

Dear John,

I’m truly thankful to you for being part of our AFSC community, and for all the ways that you support our efforts throughout the year. As the end of 2024 approaches, I am grateful for your shared commitment to peace, justice, and human dignity.

Our holiday card this year asks us to “build longer tables, not higher walls.” At AFSC, we believe that love and kindness build community. We believe that immigrants make our communities stronger. We believe that everyone deserves to live in peace—and that everyone should be able to meet basic needs.

As we look forward to what’s next for the country and the world, let’s keep showing up for each other—by leaning into community and building longer tables, not higher walls. From all of us at AFSC, we wish you a happy holiday and a fruitful new year.

In peace,

Joyce Ajlouny
General Secretary
