Have you heard about Blue, the badly injured cheetah cub? Christmas is almost here, and we know the festive season can be a busy time. But, it’s not too late to donate to our cheetah appeal, and help care for this fragile orphan.

What's next for Blue?

We want to move Blue into a larger area, with outside space. But, first we need to do some ‘cheetah cub proofing’, to make sure it’s safe and prevent her from climbing – to reduce the risk of injury, especially her healing leg.

Our colleague Bereket Girma explains more in this short video (below). Bereket actually rescued Blue in Ethiopia, and now oversees her care.

Blue is around eight months old and will always rely on us. She could never survive on her own in the wild. Her short life has been too hard, with too much suffering. Please, will you help make it up to her?
