What YOU said about the changes to the NDIS
The results are in! Our recent Community Feedback Survey reveals what people really think about the changes to NDIS legislation that came into effect on 3 October 2024.
Here’s a snapshot of the findings:
63% are facing more challenges with the NDIS since the changes. Only 5% feel adequately supported. Top concerns include eligibility reassessments, evidence requirements, and reduced choice and control.
These insights highlight the urgent need for action. See the full results and what we’re doing to push for clarity, fairness, and inclusion.

10 New Year Wishes for 2025
We have heard you and as we approach 2025, we’re calling on our governments to commit to ten clear actions to deliver the NDIS we all fought for - an NDIS that empowers people with disability to live with choice, control, and the support that we need. to live an ordinary life in the community.
We believe that:
The safety, wellbeing, and independence of people with disability must come first. Co-design must be genuine and not rushed. We dont want people forced off the NDIS without the necessary foundational suppports in place.
The time to act is now. Together, let’s make sure our governments uphold the rights of people with disability and deliver the NDIS we need and deserve.

November Community Forum
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Unpacking the Changes – Mythbusting with the NDIA!

We know it has been a big and difficult year for many people in our community and we want to thank you for all of the advocacy that you have been doing to ensure that our voices are heard.
