Dear John,

I need you to go on strike with me.

Over the last few months, young people across Britain have risen to demand real climate action, by striking from school. On September 20th, they’ve called for a General Strike.

Will you strike for the climate?

Up and down the country, Greens have been declaring climate emergencies on councils, taking direct action for climate justice, and supporting the young people leading the way where our lawmakers have sat on their hands.

We now know July was the hottest month in history. This September, we must demand action.

We must take to the streets to make this strike the biggest mobilisation for climate action in British history.

Actions are being planned for cities and communities across the country. If you want to find out what’s going on locally to you, drop us your details. If you want to set something up, get in touch and we’ll help!

Get the word out with our flyers, and prepare to show your support with our placards. We’ll be sharing more exciting plans soon, so make sure you sign up for updates.

Join me on the streets this September. Let’s make this huge.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Co-leader of the Green Party of England and Wales

PS. Please consider becoming a member of the Greens today and let's fight climate chaos together.
