The Trump storm is coming, friend. And suddenly it’s very, very important that we’ve elected people who believe in democracy, freedom, and the plight of working people at the state level.
I’m going to dig in on the Wisconsin story. But before I do: electing candidates who believe in freedom, democracy, and working people is what WisDems does. With your help, we’ll keep driving our year-round, grassroots organizing.
Can you chip in $24 to help us hit our end-of-year fundraising goal and drive our year-round organizing efforts?

Okay—let’s step back. We’ve seen how states with Republican trifectas responded to the last few years: abortion bans, attacks on workers rights and personal freedom and just about everyone without Trump-sized bank accounts. With Trump in office, they’ll go even further.
But in states with Democratic leaders, we have the possibility of curbing some of Trump’s worst attacks.
Governor Evers has already confirmed he’ll “do whatever we can to avoid” Trump’s draconian promise of mass deportations that would devastate Wisconsin’s dairy industry and bring our economy to its knees.
Attorney General Kaul wasted no time preparing to defend Wisconsinites’ freedoms from Trump—including defending the reproductive freedoms WI only recently won back. AG Kaul is ready to work with other AGs to hold Trump’s abuses of power in check.
Our legislative Democrats, led by Rep. Greta Neubauer and Sen. Dianne Hesselbein, are putting together their legislative priorities and getting ready to push back against Trump here on the state level after winning historic victories under new maps this fall.
We don’t know every horror that the Trump storm will fling down from the sky. But we know we have leaders who will put Wisconsin, and Wisconsin values, first.
Their work is going to get more intense. And so is ours.
This spring, we’ve got our state Supreme Court race—once again determining the majority. And then we’ll be off to the races for the midterms. With every election, we build on the critical work of elections past, and we push the door open to a better future.
We’re going to fight every day for what we believe in, for an economy that works for working people, for our freedoms, for decency and fairness, and for democracy. And we know that the Democratic leaders we gave our all to elect will do the same.
You can be a part of the fight to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot
by donating $24 to help us hit our year-end fundraising goal and reach voters across the state.
