Your donation before year’s end will jumpstart the team’s 2025 work to
strengthen our democracy! Donate Today Dear John,

Another year has come and gone for FairVote Action, as our team directly
contributed to wins forranked choice voting(RCV) in ballot measures and state
legislatures alike. But the work doesn’t stop here:Your donationbefore year’s
end will jumpstart the team’s 2025 work to strengthen our democracy!

As the board chair of FairVote Action, I have the privilege of supporting a
staff that shows up every day to fight for better elections and a more
representative government for all Americans.

During the 2024 elections – the toughest electoral environment for democracy
reform in two decades – ranked choice voting not only continued to win locally,
but showed once more how it strengthens our politics and leads to results that
reflect the will of the people.

Washington, DC and Oak Park, IL adopted ranked choice voting by landslide
margins – with 73% and 80% support, respectively. Portland, OR voters elected a
new city council withproportional RCVfor the first time. Now, every neighborhood
in Portland will have representation, and the Council will match the city’s
diversity in backgrounds and political perspectives.

2025 will bring renewed opportunities and challenges for this work, and withyour
support, our team will continue paving the way toward the “more perfect union”
our founders envisioned.

Thank you for believing in this work.

Onward to 2025,

Tom Wathen
FairVote Action Board Chair
