John, I’m hitting the ground running. Or should I say, driving!
My new Chief of Staff, Zahraa, and I took a road trip around Washington’s 6th District. We drove through five counties, visited the Makah Tribal Council, met with eleven Neah Bay community leaders, shopped at four small businesses, and made it home 14 hours after we left.
The 6th Congressional District is vast and beautiful. The drives are long, the people are hardworking, and there’s nowhere else I’d rather live and represent.
This trip was a reminder of what we’re fighting for. Clean air and water. Preserving our national parks. Standing with our neighbors who are immigrants or LGBTQ+ folks. Ensuring all of us can retire with dignity. Building a stronger future for all of us.
In 12 days, I’ll take the oath of office, and I’m more ready than ever to go to bat for the 6th District and working people across the country.
One more thing: Our end-of-year fundraising deadline is coming up fast. I need to know you’re with me, John: Can you chip in today to support our fight for progress into 2025 and beyond?
