Drinking kills more Americans every year than opioids or any other illegal drug. But promising treatments that could help people curb their drinking are barely being used.
 
As part of an ongoing series at treating substance use disorders in America, PBS News’ William Brangham reports on how one promising treatment — naltrexone — could be a “braking mechanism” in treating alcoholism.
