This is our final FEC Filing deadline before Donald Trump is sworn in , and all eyes will be on us to see whether Democrats are demoralized or ready to hold Donald Trump accountable.

We’ll be honest: We’ve seen the exact opposite here in California . For weeks after Election Night, countless volunteers helped us ensure that every eligible vote was called in the U.S. House races. People were ready to do their part .
And we need THAT to be the story that media outlets report. But they will be looking closely at our FEC filing to see where our grassroots fundraising numbers are. If they see us raising less than this time last year, they could conclude that Democrats are tuned out.
