You know that most institutions of higher education have been hotbeds of
anti-Americanism for decades.
In recent years, the radical ideologies hatched in higher education have
spread into the mainstream of American life.
The need to push back aggressively has become urgent.
Next year, we must do even more for the cause of liberty and the American way
of life. And I think the opportunities are significantly better than in the
past.
We must do all we can to revive and preserve the principles and practices of
liberty and limited constitutional government on the battlefield of education.
Hillsdale College has been deeply engaged in this battle for decades. With the
help of friends like you, who support Hillsdale's mission, we are determined to
redouble our efforts at this crucial time for our nation.
That's why we have set a goal to raise $6,000,000 online by December 31 to
expand ourProject to Revive and Preserve Liberty Through Education in 2025.
The focus of this vital project is to foster informed patriotism nationwide,
especially among younger Americans. And we need your help.

Hillsdale's educational outreach on behalf of liberty has never been more
urgent than it is today. That's because efforts to undermine patriotism and
destroy the American way of life have been increasing—with the ultimate goal of
transforming American government and society.
Your year-end gift will help us to promote informed patriotism by educating
millions of Americans—especially younger Americans—about our nation's great
heritage of liberty.
One way we accomplish this is through our free online courses—courses such as
"Constitution 101: The Meaning and History of the Constitution," "Land of Hope:
The Great American Story," and "Marxism, Socialism, and Communism."
We must increase the number of citizens we reach and teach through these free
online courses, as well as through our several other educational outreach
efforts—efforts such asImprimis and our ongoing work to help launch and support
Hillsdale-affiliated K-12 charter schools nationwide.
Defeating the anti-American Left on the battlefield of education is an
essential part of reviving and preserving the American way of life.
Hillsdale College refuses to accept even one penny of government support—not
even indirectly in the form of federal or state student grants and loans.This
principled independence frees us from many burdensome and corrupting federal
regulations and allows us to remain true to our mission.
It also means that we depend entirely on the support of citizens like you.
I see the tremendous impact of this support as I travel around the nation and
talk to those who benefit from Hillsdale's educational outreach. It is
especially gratifying to see the impact on younger Americans.
