Project 2025 is the 900-page agenda Trump allies authored as a blueprint for his second administration. It proposes:
Repealing clean energy investments and expanding the burning of dirty fossil fuels
Weakening essential protections for clean air and water and a safer climate
Defaulting on America’s commitment to the global climate agreement — again
Making it harder to keep harmful chemicals out of our food, homes and workplaces
Undermining government staff responsible for safeguarding health and environmental protections
Despite disavowing Project 2025 as ‘seriously extreme’ and labelling its proponents as ‘the radical right,’ Trump is nominating its authors to senior positions and using it to guide his administration’s first actions.
It’s critical that we shine a bright light on Project 2025 and call out its extreme policy goals, which seek to burn more fossil fuels and make it harder to hold polluters accountable, putting Americans’ health at risk and accelerating the climate crisis.
