The Washington Post: Energized by next Trump term, red states move agendas further right

Donald Trump isn’t back in the White House yet, but the GOP’s agenda is already wreaking havoc across the country.

In state after state, Republican lawmakers are rushing to write laws that would push their states even further to the right, removing citizens' liberties and freedoms.

This is nothing new. For years, Republicans have used their power to play political games that harm the very people they were elected to serve. Now, with Trump poised to assume office again, the stakes are even higher. Their legislative plans will become bolder, their policies more extreme, and the damage to our nation more profound.

It’s unacceptable. Public office is a privilege and a responsibility — not a free pass to shove partisan agendas down the throats of the American people. Accountability matters. It’s on us to restore it.

This fight will take all of us. Will you join me today by chipping in whatever you can? Every contribution helps me hold Republicans accountable. >> [link removed]
