Charge Conference Registration
The Charge Conferences will be held in January, with the Zoom meetings on January 12th (12 noon, 12:45, 1:30, 2:15, 3:00 and 3:45) and the In-person on January 26th at 3:00 PM at Wesley UMC in Springfield.

You must announce the date to your congregation twice 10 days prior to the conference. It is also required that we have your signed paperwork in the district office before your meeting.
If you do not register for one of these two days/formats, you will have a scheduled Charge Conference in Springfield at the convenience of the District Superintendent.

Apportionments are due for 2024 by January 7, 2025
Please remember that apportionments must be RECEIVED by January 7th (before 4
p.m.) to count for 2024. If you are sending them after the New Year, you will want to utilize a guaranteed method of delivery.
Guaranteed methods would include UPS, Fed-Ex, maybe the USPS Priority, but whatever method, you need to let Lindsay know it’s coming ( mailto:
[email protected] [email protected]) AND provide a tracking number.
Hand Delivery is also a good option if you are down to the wire.
Congregations in Action Class Two Virtual Info Session
Join us at 10 a.m. on Jan. 15 for a brief info session on Congregations in Action, a Lilly-granted program of the Missouri Conference that helps take your congregation outside the church walls and into your community. Class two nominations open in early 2025. This info session will share what it takes to be involved in the program. Nominations for class two open in 2025, and participation requires a nomination from your District Superintendent. Learn more about the program and what it takes to be involved in this brief info session at 10 a.m. on Jan. 15.
For all Local Pastors participating in Course of Study:
COS Winter – Registration is Open and closes 1/6/25. Classes begin 1/16 and run 6 weeks.
We are offering 8 classes, and they are ONLINE with a zoom classroom component. You may take only one class in this winter term.
You may register yourself through our [link removed] Populi student management system. You will then receive an automatic email from populi asking for the approval signatures from your DS and LPR, which is required each semester you take a class.
The Syllabus will be posted to the [link removed] Moodle class site, which will include the 2 required books and assignments (due during class, not before).

Smaller Church Cohort
This cohort equips churches with tools and support to move beyond reacting to current challenges. By developing intentional ministry plans, churches can actively shape the future God is calling them toward instead of merely responding to the pain of the present.
