The Human Freedom Index finds that nearly 9-in-10 people—87.4%—living in 165 countries around the World experienced a decline in freedom from 2020 to 2022. Switzerland is once again the freest jurisdiction on Earth, according to the latest ranking, while Canada ranks 11th.
