John,
We are fully anticipating that the first measures targeting undocumented families may happen as soon as President-elect Trump’s first day in office.
This is personal for us. Domestic workers have among the highest concentration of undocumented workers in the country. And the threat of ICE agents hunting undocumented people through immigrant communities is terrifying.
We’re urgently pulling together teams from across the National Domestic Workers Alliance to unleash our full power to protect all domestic and care workers at risk because of President-elect Trump’s deportation agenda.
We are just 34 days away and don’t have a moment to lose. Can you rush an urgent $20 donation to support our work to protect domestic and care workers at risk of deportation?

Our goal is to be ready to meet this challenge head-on, starting on the first day.
Because whether it’s day 1 or day 100, the incoming Administration, and the incoming House and Senate majorities’ leaders, have made clear their aim is to hunt down and deport undocumented people 1 , which includes the incredible women in our community.
It’s why we have turned on a dime, and are preparing to distribute must-know-information about the legal rights all undocumented people have throughout the care worker community. It’s just the beginning.
We’ve got teams rapidly deploying right now and developing new projects and campaigns to roll-out when attacks begin, including:
* Pressing to protect and extend Temporary Protected Status designations when it is not safe for people to return to their home countries
* Urging Governor Whitmer and lawmakers in Michigan to ensure access to driver’s licenses for all Michigan residents, regardless of immigration status
* Outreach to our membership and affiliates with Know Your Rights trainings and concrete referral options to legal services
* An Informational and Support Hub for domestic and care workers to navigate deportation concerns with accessible and clear guidance in English and Spanish
We are pulling out all the stops to be ready to meet the moment, and that includes making sure we are on a strong financial footing with grassroots donations as well. So we need to ask:
Can you rush an urgent $20 donation to support our work to protect domestic and care workers at risk of deportation?
