This Christmas all I want is a Democratic Party that focuses on building
housing, public transit, and high speed rail.

We need to cut red tape and incentivize building, and ban corporations
from buying up homes. We call this a housing crisis. It’s time to start
acting like it.

Right now, Leaders We Deserve is vetting young progressive candidates who
are ready to run for office in 2025 and 2026 and help to ensure we’re
addressing these critical issues that are impacting young people – and
everyone for that matter.

We need bold action — and that's what Leaders-endorsed candidates are
known for, John.

Just look at Sarah McBride, who passed paid family and medical leave in
Delaware at the state level before becoming the first trans member of
Congress.

Or look at Oscar De Los Santos, who blocked Arizona’s draconian
anti-abortion law resurrected from the 1800s (literally). When I called
him to let him know we would endorse him he couldn’t pick up and texted me
“sorry I can’t talk rn repealing the abortion ban from 1864.” Now he is
the minority leader.

Young people get sh*t done. We need more of us in elected office to tackle
urgent issues like the housing crisis. And together, we are making it
happen.
