GEORGIA FARM BUREAU CONVENTION:
Gov. Brian Kemp showed his support for Georgia farmers while speaking at the 87th Annual Georgia Farm Bureau Convention.
“As Georgia’s agriculture and farming industries rebuild from this difficult year, we will continue to fight for them and ensure they have the resources to recover from Hurricane Helene.”
Gov. Brian Kemp announced over $9 million in grants to six development authorities to help accelerate the development of industrial sites across Georgia.
This investment is the latest reminder that Governor Kemp is committed to keeping Georgia the best place to live, work and raise a family.
During the holiday season, Georgia's law enforcement officers work long hours to keep communities safe, often sacrificing time with their own families so others can enjoy visiting theirs.
This week, Governor Kemp and the team stopped by the Georgia Department of Public Safety Christmas Lunch to personally thank these heroes for their dedication and service.
Thanks for reading this Kemp’s Weekly Chop. We hope you have a blessed Christmas and holiday season!

A MESSAGE FROM BRIAN KEMP
More than 35 years ago, I started my first business with nothing but a pickup truck and a shovel.
Since taking office as Governor of Georgia in 2019, I’ve put hardworking Georgians and their families first!
We’ve championed legislation to cut taxes for working families, crack down on crime, end human trafficking, reform foster care and adoption, and support our students and educators.
When Georgia became the first state to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, I made sure we protected both lives and livelihoods. As a result, we’ve seen historic economic investment, and we’ve continued to lead the way in creating opportunities at every corner of the state.
And we’re not stopping there!
Marty, the girls, and I are working hard to ensure Georgia’s best days are ahead of us.
