GST/HST holiday tax break
We introduced a two-month tax break on essentials to Canadians through the holiday season. When Pierre Poilievre was given the chance to axe the tax, he voted against it.
Building more homes
We’re getting more homes built, faster. We’re building nearly 4 million more homes, helping more than 750,000 Canadians save up through the Tax-Free First Home Savings Account, eliminating the GST on new rental builds, and unlocking the construction of more than 600,000 rental apartments.
The Canadian Dental Care Plan
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is helping 9 million uninsured Canadians get the dental care they need – and more than 1 million have already been able to receive dental care under it! Pierre Poilievre voted against it.
National Universal Pharmacare
The Liberal Pharmacare plan is helping Canadians access free prescription contraceptives and life-saving diabetes medication – regardless of where they live or their ability to pay. Pierre Poilievre voted against it.
The National School Food Program
The National School Food Program will provide nutritious meals to 400,000 more kids every year. Pierre Poilievre voted against it.
Protecting renters
We’re supporting renters and putting home ownership back in reach by cracking down on short-term rentals, making sure renters get credit for on-time rent payments, and strengthening renter protections.
Delivering better mental health services
Our Liberal team knows that mental health is health – and that’s why we’re staying focused on our work to continue delivering better mental health support for all Canadians.
More $10-a-day child care spaces
We created more $10-a-day child care spots and we’re saving families up to $14,000 with affordable child care.
National Action Plan on Combatting Auto Theft
We took real action to combat auto theft, which has returned more stolen cars to their rightful owners. We will always prioritize keeping our communities safe.
Keeping Kids Safe Online
We’re making online spaces safer and holding web giants more accountable for the harmful content they host through the Online Harms Act.
