| Pray for journalists in Kenya empowered to address violence against women and children through thoughtful news coverage.
Pray for the journalists who recently underwent training with IJM, that they may effectively use the skills and knowledge gained to report on cases with accuracy, sensitivity and a focus on justice for victims. Pray also for continued collaboration with government officers and other stakeholders to strengthen media’s role in combating violence against women and children by helping to educate and inform the public, and call for accountability. |
| Latin America |
| Praise God for the opportunity to facilitate a training program for police officers in Peru. The program, called Police in Childhood Mode, is designed to improve the care of children at police stations and throughout the investigation process. Over 500 police officers have completed the first phase of the training, and this week 200 police officers began the second phase that focuses on the investigation process. Please pray that this initiative will equip investigators to solve more cases of sexual violence against children efficiently. |
| South Asia |
| Pray for two women and a minor girl recently rescued from slavery as domestic servants. All three had been forced to work night and day in a home since 2019, while enduring constant threats and violence. Authorities arrested their abuser, but he is currently out on bail. Please pray for the three victims’ recovery and for ongoing legal action to keep them safe. |

| Praise God for IJM's annual Christmas gathering in the Philippines, where hundreds of young survivors of exploitation and abuse were joyfully celebrated. Through the partnership of the Philippine Survivor Network and generous sponsors, these individuals experienced a day filled with love, hope, and the reminder that they are deeply valued. |
