Happy weekend, John!

Brad’s was busy criss-crossing the city this week — so we wanted to give you a quick update on what he’s been up to.

On Monday, Brad listened to members of Brooklyn’s vibrant Haitian community at DjonDjon restaurant in Flatbush. They discussed making NYC more livable and more affordable for the next generation of hardworking New Yorkers.

Over at the Comptroller’s Office, Brad celebrated some big wins for New Yorkers – like a ruling that rejected shifting retirees to a Medicare Advantage plan. After the Comptroller’s office declined to register the contract last year, this was the final win for some 250,000 City retirees fighting to keep their health care. The Comptroller's Office also announced that it secured more than $140,000 for building workers who’d been cheated out of their wages.

And yesterday morning in Maspeth, Brad joined the Teamsters on the picket line in the biggest strike against Amazon in history. Brad is with the Teamsters – and labor across the city – every step of the way as they demand contract negotiations and for Amazon to come to the bargaining table in good faith.

John, we deserve a Mayor who listens to and stands up for New Yorkers in all five boroughs – and Brad’s our guy.
