Team,

Mitch’s campaign has a new attack ad on the air, and it’s a doozy. In an attempt to get voters in Kentucky to think I’m some sort of extremist, they used a doctored audio recording. It’s shameful.

From the day I decided to take on Mitch McConnell, I knew we’d be up against dirty tricks and unethical tactics. But no matter how nasty they get, I refuse to let them bully me or our campaign.

I need your help today to make sure the other side doesn’t get away with this kind of campaigning—if you can, please chip in and help fight back with everything we’ve got:

The thing is, I’m not anything like their typical opponent. My record is out in the open for everyone to see, and I’m extremely proud of it: 89 combat missions flown, approximately 2,000 hours of flight time, and 20 years of service as a Marine.

I’ll set that record side by side with Mitch’s any day of the week. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do in this election.

Let’s start by fighting back against Mitch’s baseless and deceitful attacks—chip in if you can help right now:

Your support means so much, especially at moments like this—thank you,
