After Senate Hearings, House Hearings, and Postal Workers’ Campaign Against DeJoy Mail Slowdown:

Everyone is fed up with Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s destruction of the USPS

Ever since Trump-appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy took office in 2020, his leadership has been disastrous. DeJoy was recently warned by the House Oversight Committee that the USPS is on a path toward either a “government bailout or the end of this great organization as we know it.”

DeJoy’s leadership isn’t just bad; it’s a complete disaster – so much so that Congress had to get involved. So now we at the DGA want to know where you stand:

Team, Louis DeJoy’s 10-year plan for the USPS has caused ongoing mail delays, failing service, and a staggering $9.5 billion net loss – $3 billion worse than last year.

If that’s not bad enough, Sen. Jon Ossoff, stressing major concerns about ongoing mail delays in Georgia and across the country, told DeJoy, “You’re not meeting your financial targets, you’re hemorrhaging cash when you said you'd be making money,” and “If you don't fix it...I don't think you're fit for this job.”

Even USPS workers are fed up. They recently launched a campaign against another DeJoy mail slowdown, stating that DeJoy’s “cost cutting plans” actually just reduce service and delay mail deliveries substantially in many communities across the country!

Since assuming leadership of the USPS – an essential service that millions of Americans depend on daily – DeJoy has systematically undermined its operations. As a result, everyone from members of Congress to postal workers are sounding the alarm.
