With our democracy at a tipping point, our collective work to shift the balance of power and continue to strengthen our state legislatures has never been more urgent.

This work can’t wait until next year, which is why we’ve already hit the ground running:

Earlier this month, we held a nationwide mobilization call, welcoming hundreds of new activists into our movement who are ready to turn their anxiety about the upcoming Trump presidency into action.
We’re working to win the critical special election in Virginia happening next month, endorsing and generating grassroots support for two important champions who will help keep the state Senate and House of Delegates blue.
And we’re gearing up to make strategic investments to boost our volunteer infrastructure, organizing capacity, and candidate support. We’re also beginning to identify key candidates for the 2025 elections.

But this work takes early resources, John, and our grassroots organization is coming up on a big year-end deadline. Everything we raise before the end of the year will help determine our team’s budget for our organizing and electoral efforts in 2025.
