I want to tell you about my family and the reason I decided to fight for working families. Will you chip in $15 and then read my story below?

I grew up in a working-class family, one of eight siblings. (Yep, you read that right. Eight kids!)

My dad was a veteran and a steel plant worker while my mom was a homemaker. As you can probably imagine, she had her hands full.

Us kids always had what we needed. But like most of the working-class families in our neighborhood, it wasn’t always easy to make ends meet.

When I was young, my parents were both denied health coverage because of preexisting conditions.

Later, my mom suffered a heart attack just one month before she qualified for Medicare, and my parents nearly lost their home as the medical bills piled up.

I’ve seen how our institutions can uplift working families like ours. I’ve also seen the devastating consequences when those institutions abandon the public interest to serve a political agenda.

Those experiences are the reason I decided to run for Congress in Nevada’s most competitive district. My mission was to fight for hardworking families, and with the help of this team, I got to do just that.

Almost six years since I was first sworn in, I’m deeply proud of the work we’ve done to make Southern Nevada a better place for families of all kinds.

From affordable healthcare to housing, childcare, water security, clean energy, quality public education, paid parental leave, fair wages, better infrastructure, and programs like Social Security and Medicare, my commitment to the common good has never wavered.

The people of Nevada’s Third District are truly at the heart of everything I do, and I’m eager to continue serving them faithfully in Washington.

The House MAGA Majority and Trump Administration won’t make my work easy. Will you chip in to help my team and me prepare for the challenges ahead, so I can continue getting things done for Nevada?
