Quick Correction

In our last email we mentioned that a citizen's committee proposed the 43% increase. However, we've been told that they did not. The 43% increase was proposed by Speaker Mike Moyle, former Senate Pro Tempore Chuck Winder, along with Democrats Melissa Wintrow and Ilana Rubel, and was rejected by the citizen's committee. Also, it was pointed out to us that this pay increase is actually in place right now and can only be undone by a resolution of both the Senate and the House. So if you haven't used Email Idaho yet, please do so and let them know you want them supporting a resolution to stop the pay increase.
