John,
Before the year officially ends, I wanted to reach out and say thank you.
Your commitment and passion for All On The Line’s mission has helped so much this year — and for that, we are incredibly grateful.
Together, the fair maps movement helped…
• Defeat “The Judicial Accountability Act of 2024” in Arizona. This high-stakes ballot initiative would have essentially ended term limits for state supreme and appellate court judges. But instead, you helped hold the line against a tremendous, partisan abuse of power, and Arizonans will continue to have a say over who sits on their highest court.
• Protect voters and build power in states all across the country. All On the Line and affiliates recruited over 6,800 poll workers and sent over a million text messages to voters.
• Stand for fair representation, voting rights, and justice. With new, more representative maps in place (as a result of one of our affiliates’ victory at the U.S. Supreme Court), Black voters in Louisiana and Alabama each had the opportunity to elect two candidates of their choice, instead of just one — for the first time in nearly three decades in Louisiana and the first time ever in Alabama.
There’s no grassroots team I’d rather have by our side as we head into 2025. Together, we’ll keep working to restore fairness to our democracy — advancing fair maps, ending gerrymandering, and protecting voting rights for all Americans.
Here’s to the year ahead,
Marina Jenkins
Executive Director, All On the Line
