Don’t Mess with Trump, Don’t Mess with Texas

Border Wall

A huge win for President Trump and Texas! The border wall that Joe Biden was attempting to auction off for pennies on the dollar in secret has been stopped.

Last Thursday, a tip from Border Patrol exposed Biden for attempting to sell wall panels. A few days later, the administration rushed thousands of usable wall panels to an auction site in Arizona. The purpose was obviously to keep these border wall panels from President Trump. That auction was scheduled to happen on Wednesday, December 18. However, the wall panels were pulled from the auction and not sold.

Here’s the back story. When Texas looked at the auction site on Friday of last week, the usable wall panels were not listed, or it was not easy to see what they were on the site.

Texas was never told in advance about the auction of these usable wall panels scheduled for December 18 like we had been in the past. Last summer, we purchased $12 million of usable panels (about 4 miles of wall) at an auction.

Texas sent a representative to Arizona this week. The auctioneers told him they pulled the wall panels from the auction at the direction of the U.S. Government. They also told us that if these thousands of panels go up for auction, Texas will be notified first. Governor Abbott and I stand ready to buy them if they do.

Early this week, President Trump called out Biden for trying to sell off the border wall. He called it a “criminal act” by Biden. President Trump was the key to ending the secret Biden plan.

It’s another Trump win, and he’s not even in office yet. #MAGA

The Great Biden Christmas Border Wall Heist

I was on Fox News' America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer Thursday morning to tell “The Great Biden Christmas Border Wall Heist” story, which President Trump and Texas successfully stopped. Click here to watch the interview.

This Is Not Just Incompetence—It’s Deliberate, It’s Reckless, and It’s Evil

Auction

I also joined Trace Gallagher on Fox News at Night last Friday to discuss the Biden administration auctioning off unused border wall materials for pennies on the dollar — treating our national security as if it’s a yard sale.

This isn’t just a fight against the incoming president — it’s a fight against the American people.

Over the past four years, the Democrats have opened our borders to an unprecedented flood of illegal crossings — including terrorists, murderers, rapists, and child predators. Even now, in their final moments of power, they’re doubling down on this chaos.

This is not just incompetence — it’s deliberate, it’s reckless, and it’s evil. The blood on Biden’s hands from his border policies will stain his legacy forever. And now, as he clings to power, he’s waging this fight to the bitter end, leaving America more vulnerable than ever.

Bringing Christmas to Those in Need

KIDS’ Meals delivers over 9,000 lunches every day — and even more during the summer — to underserved children across 18 routes and 56 precincts in Harris and Montgomery Counties. That’s over 3 million lunches each year, lovingly packed every morning by dedicated volunteers, many of whom are sent by local companies. Their efforts are truly remarkable. When the trucks arrive, children and their families come out to receive the food. They are so thankful. Witnessing their gratitude is truly heartwarming.

Kids Meals

Last year, I had the privilege of helping distribute food and toys at Christmas with KIDS’ Meals in Houston. This week, I returned with the director, Beth Harp, and my dear friend Steve Drake, who is one of their many dedicated volunteers and donors.

One of our drivers, Alma, demonstrates what’s inside the lunch bags. Around 9,000 lunch bags, prepared by volunteers, are distributed every day to young children who are not yet old enough to attend school and receive free breakfast and lunch like their older siblings. During the summer, when older siblings are also out of school, they distribute about 15,000 lunches daily.

Lunches

We also distribute food to the families, which is either purchased with donations or generously provided by Sprouts and Aldi grocery stores. The food includes items that weren’t sold, but are still in good condition.

Gifts

We distributed diapers and toys, and one sweet little girl decided to follow me along the route.

Each of their 23 trucks is donated by a generous supporter. Donors have the option to place a photo of a loved one on the truck they sponsor. Last year, Steve Drake donated a truck and surprised me by putting my mom’s photo on it. She passed away several years ago at the age of 91, and Steve knew her well.

I teared up when I saw it because my mom grew up extremely poor in Virginia during the Depression without a father. Her mother worked as a maid and nanny for a family. My mom would have been one of those kids receiving the food.

The other day, I stumbled upon a charming little amusement park in Tomball called Once Upon a Cowboy, designed for kids aged 3–10. It offers plenty of fun activities for little ones, featuring cowboys and dinosaurs. I’m always on the lookout for new adventures to enjoy with my youngest grandkids!

Thank you all for your support and everything you do to keep Texas red. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.

Sincerely,
