Let’s be clear, John: Extremist politicians like to claim that they’re standing up for freedom. But the policies they’re pushing aren't freedom at all.

It’s not freedom when they tell women what they can and can’t do with their own bodies.

It’s not freedom when they tell our children what books they can and can’t read.

And it’s certainly not freedom when they tell you that you can work a full-time job, but you can’t join a union.

For years, we’ve seen these politicians try every trick in the book to ban abortion, take away resources from public schools, and prioritize wealthy special interests and political grandstanding over the needs of working families.

It’s no secret that these extremists have set their sights on the freedoms we hold dear, John. But here in Pennsylvania, they have to go through me.
