** New Brand, Same Message
------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Fellow Young Democrat,

I hope you and your loved ones remain safe through this pandemic. In this moment, we are clearly seeing the importance of electing thoughtful, compassionate leaders. Consider finding a local candidate that you believe would make an excellent leader through this crisis and make calls for their campaign, or give to a local charity providing resources during this crisis. Our state party has put together
a list of resources ([link removed])) and ways to give in every corner of our state.

Also, a reminder that the only voting that happens on June 2nd is in-person voting. Tomorrow is the final day to request an absentee ballot. All mail-in ballots have to arrive by noon on June 2nd in order to be counted. Plan ahead and send in your ballot as soon as you get it in the mail as COVID-19 is slowing down our Postal Service.

We have also entered into a new phase as an organization! We have updated our branding and are sporting a new look.

Make sure to share the video on your social media pages so we can reach as many Hoosiers as possible.

Young Gets It Done,

Arielle Brandy,
President

** Join us for our State Convention!
------------------------------------------------------------

Join us for our state convention on June 20th, 2020.

We will gather as members of the Indiana Young Democrats and renew our pledge to increase engagement amongst young voters and elect more young Democrats to office. We will have training sessions to prepare us to lead in our own communities across the state and hear from game-changers making a difference in our political atmosphere. We will also elect our officers for the 2020-21 term.

To be eligible to vote at this summer's state convention you must be a member in good standing by June 10th, 2020.

** Hoosier Women Forward!
------------------------------------------------------------

[link removed]
Applications for the 2020-2021 class of Hoosier Women Forward are now open! Hoosier Women Forward is a political and civic leadership training program designed to empower Democratic women to become more active participants in politics and leaders in their communities. We are looking for women over the age of 25 from around the state to participate in the upcoming class. This program is great for women who are looking to develop their leadership skills and plug into a statewide network of engaged Democrats, regardless of whether you are planning to run for office.

Applications are due June 17, 2020.
Feel free to reach out to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) for more information.

** New Brand, Same Message
------------------------------------------------------------

We have rebranded! Our organization is growing and changing and our brand must evolve with us. We're proud to unveil our new branding that speaks to the value we place on diversity as a party. We all have different stories to tell and we write our narrative in our own way, but together we form a coalition that believes in accessible healthcare, in reproductive freedoms, and that we must collectively respond to climate change.

You might have seen the new branding on Facebook ([link removed]) , Twitter ([link removed]) , or Instagram ([link removed]) over the past week! If you haven't yet, be sure to go share the video of our brand unveiling on your social media pages.

** Keep Calm and Vote By Mail!

here ([link removed]) and go to your My Voter Portal.
Step 2: Enter your voter registration information exactly as it appears on your current voter registration, and click Absentee Voting in the gray sidebar when on your portal page.
Step 3: Request your Absentee Ballot.
Step 4: That's it -- You're done! Expect your ballot in the mail. Cast your vote and mail back.

*The only voting that happens on June 2nd is in-person voting. All absentee ballots have to arrive by NOON on June 2nd and won't be counted even if they've been postmarked. Plan ahead and send in ballot early given delays by COVID-19 on our postal services.
