Dear John,
Join us on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 3:30 pm ET/12:30 pm PT for the fourth annual “Faith in Democracy” Interfaith Prayer Vigil. This hybrid event will be livestreamed and held in-person on the National Mall in front of the US Capitol. Click here to register.
THE DC Poor People's Campaign is partnering with Franciscan Action Network, Sojourners, Faith in Peace Concerts, and many other partners to bring together faith leaders and believers from a variety of traditions, all speaking from sacred texts which guide us to protect the rights of all and to resolve our differences without violence. In the United States, our way of doing that is through a properly functioning and fully representative democracy.
Find more information about speakers and musicians as it becomes available at the campaign webpage.
Please join this important vigil to stand and pray for democracy, peace, and unity as our newly elected officials take office.
And hold this date: On Saturday January 18th, the DC Poor People's campaign will participate in the Annual DC MLK Day parade. More details to come.
Forward Together!
