Team—in one month, Donald Trump will be sworn in as President of the United States.
Time and again, Trump has shown us exactly who he is and how he’ll act in office. He’s a climate denier who will happily let polluters destroy our environment if the price is right—just look at what he recently posted:
[Post from Donald Trump that reads: "Any person or company investing one billion dollars or more in the United States of America will receive fully expedited approvals and permits, including, but in no way limited to, all Environmental approvals."]
All of our advancements, from local triumphs to big federal wins, are on the line right now, and as we feel the devastating impacts of the climate crisis more each day, it’s crucial that we act to protect our progress.
We can’t wait for Trump to be sworn in next month before we get organized—there’s no time like the present. Will you contribute to help my team power up for the fight ahead?

But all hope is not lost. This election cycle might have ushered in an anti-environmental trifecta in D.C., but the state results delivered in California showed just how powerful the Golden State’s environmental movement truly is.
This cycle, while Big Oil outspent EnviroVoters’ PAC entities 12 to 1, climate justice candidates beat them in 70% of head-to-head races, securing a net gain of environmental champions this year.
And I’m proud of the work we’ve done in recent years to pass game-changing laws nationwide that reflect California’s values, like the Great American Outdoors Act, the Corporate Climate Accountability Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
One month from today, we swear in a President who’s deep in the pockets of corporate polluters—and here at EnviroVoters, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure our pro-climate leaders stand up to Trump. But we need your help. Will you include us in your end of year giving plans?

Trump’s impending inauguration is daunting. But California can (and must) be a leader in this moment, continuing to push on climate justice and protect the advancements we’ve made while we keep beating back corporate interests.
Thanks for thinking of our work at this critical juncture.
