The House of Representatives recently passed H.R. 9495, also known as the “Nonprofit Killer Bill" that would grant Trump and future presidents unprecedented authority to strip nonprofits of their tax-exempt status by labeling them “terrorist supporting organizations”.

This bill poses a significant threat to organizations like ours. The Trump administration would have unchecked power to silence political opposition, targeting any group that dares to stand against its agenda. It would stifle free speech and devastate advocacy efforts nationwide. Now it’s headed to the Senate, where the fight is far from over.
