First, let me explain why I'm reaching out today:

Because of Donald Trump and Republicans' three-year fundraising headstart and no competitive primary season, they now have a cash-on-hand advantage of over $150 million.

Look, I know it sounds steep. But I'm only calling this out because I have seen first-hand that there is no challenge too great and no task too tall for our campaign's grassroots team.

Throughout the primary season, when the pundits counted us out, you all kept the faith, and chipped in a few dollars at a time to keep the lights on for us and push us forward to victory.

And now, we are continuing to run a grassroots-driven campaign in the general election against Donald Trump. Online grassroots donations make up the majority of our contributions, and our average online donation in April was just $32.

So yes, it will be up to folks like you, reading emails like these, to help us make sure we have the resources to compete against and defeat Donald Trump's deep warchest.
