From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It’s easy to lose track of all the blessings in our lives during this busy time of year, but it is important that we take a moment to reflect, be thankful, and remember the reason we celebrate—the birth of Jesus Christ and what that means for all of us.

With the 2025 legislative session just days away, I wanted to share the exciting news that I have been appointed to serve as the Republican Chairman of the House Environment and Natural Resources Committee.

It is an honor to serve in this important role and I look forward to rolling up my sleeves to help steward Minnesota’s God-given natural resources for generations to come.

Living in the Brainerd Lakes Area, we understand the importance of clean air and water, the value of science-based forest management, and the role outdoor recreation plays in driving our local economy. As chairman, I will focus on protecting these critical assets while also working to streamline the state’s permitting process and eliminate unnecessary government bureaucracy that stifles economic growth.
