Dear John,
As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on a year of dedication, meaningful victories, and challenging losses. Through it all, WOLA has remained steadfast in its commitment to advancing human rights across the Americas. This year, we proudly celebrated WOLA’s 50th anniversary with a memorable Human Rights Awards Gala in May. Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to continuing this essential work together in 2025.
Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a hopeful new year! The WOLA Team 🌟 |

2024 marked five decades of WOLA’s advocacy for human rights in Latin America. On May 9, we hosted our 50th Anniversary Human Rights Awards and Benefit Gala, honoring Senator Patrick Leahy, Venezuela Program Education-Action on Human Rights - PROVEA, and the Collectives of Family Members of the Disappeared in Guanajuato, Mexico. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone!
