The video of remarks made by WOLA's President, Carolina Jiménez Sandoval at the OAS Permanent Council on the situation in Venezuela, posted on WOLA's X account, received more than 248,000 views and 1,700 likes.

WOLA's Weekly Border Updates reached an incredible audience this year, with 208,000 downloads by 161,000 readers. Our top post was "Weekly U.S.-Mexico Border Update: Mexico blocks migration, U.S. legislation, migrant removals, nationalities" posted on April 26 and downloaded 20,409 times.

We also launched a 12-week video update series leading up to the U.S. presidential elections, bringing timely insights to our audience.

2024 marked five decades of WOLA’s advocacy for human rights in Latin America. On May 9, we hosted our 50th Anniversary Human Rights Awards and Benefit Gala, honoring Senator Patrick Leahy, Venezuela Program Education-Action on Human Rights - PROVEA, and the Collectives of Family Members of the Disappeared in Guanajuato, Mexico.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone!
