As we embrace the holiday season, we want to take a moment to thank each of you for being an essential part of our community.
Last week's holiday party was a wonderful celebration, filled with laughter and connection. It was truly a pleasure to see so many familiar faces. Thank you for the warmth and enthusiasm that everyone brought to the event.
Looking ahead, the new state legislative session is just around the corner and our county delegation meeting is already scheduled. See details below if you would like to speak as a citizen at the January 6 meeting.
Indian River County board and commission openings will be announced soon. We’ll share more information as it becomes available. In the meantime, please consider how you may want to further engage as a member of a local committee.
We encourage all Democrats in Indian River to stay active in local political meetings and events. You’ll find a list of upcoming government meetings below, along with details about our Democratic Club’s new series.

2025 Indian River County Legislative Delegation Meeting
The Indian River County Legislative Delegation will meet on Monday, January 6, 2025, to allow local governments, organizations, and citizens to present important issues to the delegates ahead of the 2025 Legislative Session. Senator Erin Grall and Representative Robert Brackett will be present. Representatives from our DEC will speak at the meeting and present our 2025 delegation letter.
Would you like to speak as a citizen? Those interested in speaking to the delegation must complete and submit an Appearance Request Form
no later than noon today, December 20, 2024.

Women's March in Brevard
The Awake Brevard Action Alliance is hosting a Women's March to raise awareness and protest key political issues impacting our local communities. Join them to make your voice heard.
